MTAP or AUTOTAP (Meplat Trim and Point) System

The MTAP and AUTOTAP System comes preset up for one bullet caliber of your choice.

Offered in either 115V (USA) or 230V for our out of country customers.

The MTAP and AUTOTAP system cuts and forms the point and tip on a copper jacketed lead core bullet. The process creates all bullets, when taken out of the box to the same length, same point and theoretically the same BC with an increased BC. Meplat trimming and pointing simultaneously with zero jacket distortion.

The AUTOTAP eliminates the hand held bullet holder tool that users currently are using. The consistency of the autodrive system is repeatable to +-.001" over 1000 consecutive pointing processes. All of the AUTOTAPs will have the automatic ejector to where you do not have to pull the bullet out manually. All you have to do is insert a new bullet after each cycle. There is an automatic mode to where the autodrive cycles back and forth continually so you do not have to press the start button each time. The machine does about 300 per hour. If you have an MTAP, but your hand gets sore from using the hand held method, this will be a lifesaver. 
 
The ULTRATAP system (Coming Mid-Summer) that will be a fully automated system that will allow you to dump a box of bullets 100 at a time into a hopper and walk away type system will not be available till mid summer. Good news is the ULTRATAP add-on will bolt on, all of the AUTOTAPs as all provisions for the ULTRATAP system are already integrated into the plate system. 
 
We worked really hard to make everything modular so that any customer at any time could upgrade their MTAP with any add on without fear of not having the current model and being stuck with an outdated system. Essentially from serial number 1- current number (around 200 machines are sold and most in service) will always be compatible for any upgrade/add on. 

 

The MTAP System is a separate unit from the IDOD/AUTODOD and these set ups cannot be used on the IDOD/AUTODOD.

    In my testing, round-robin firing of my standard pointed bullet versus MTAP at 1,000 yards, the MTAP bullets consistently showed better vertical dispersion in almost every test. A few tests had similar vertical, while horizontal dispersion remained comparable every time. Tod Hendricks

    I thoroughly tested the MTAP at various distances in a wide range of conditions, using my own pointed bullets as a control. The consistency of MTAP produced groups that at a minimum, matched my control and in most cases, exceeded them. And not by a little. Add in the time savings for not having to sort bullets and you have a product that improves your process and your results on target.

    The MTAP provides an easy and effective means to apply another layer of precision to competition bullets by trimming and pointing to consistent and repeatable dimensions. The machine is precise, robust and ingenious, like all the products from FClass Products I use. Why not apply that extra degree of precision to your game? Highly recommended!

    Measuring sorting and cutting and the pointing bullets is a ton of time. This new MTAP does everything in one step. Can't believe the time it saves and the groups sizes are flatter at same speeds with increased BC from consistent maching of bullets. Great product.
