This tuner has a nylon insert that not only provides the needed friction to keep it from turning but also seals the cleaning solution from getting under your thread. Every other tuner on the market for f class does not seal on the front and over time you get cleaning solution build up in the thread. The nylon insert will not get hard or brittle over time.
As you can see there are only 6 divisions. Why is that when most other tuners on the market go up to 20+? Because you will not see any change on the target on this tuner unless it is rotated a minimum of 60 degrees and the nodes repeat themselves after 2 revolutions.
These are offered both the F-Open and FTR sizes and in stainless and non stainless but coated versions. Stainless tuners on stainless barrels have a tendency to "gauld" and that is why even with anti seize we recommend a steel coated tuner over a stainless.
