Take the guesswork out of cutter head setup. Our new Micrometer Cutter Depth System allows MTAP and AUTOTAP users to set cutter head depth with ease, especially valuable for those who switch between multiple projectiles or projectile weights within the same caliber.
The micrometer threads directly into the back of the collet, and with a simple adjustment, it makes positive contact with the rear of the cutter head to establish exact, repeatable depth settings. This lets you document your optimal positions for different bullets and return to them instantly—no more tedious trial and error.
We’re also exploring the addition of reference charts to help you get extremely close on your first adjustment, further reducing setup time and frustration.
