MTAP MBC Cutter Upgrade
The MBC Cutters are the latest cutter blade upgrade for the MTAP system, developed to push ballistic performance beyond the original straight and radius cutter profiles.
After 1,000+ rounds of live-fire testing on 200.20X projectiles, the MBC profile demonstrated a measured G7 BC increase of approximately 7%, along with exceptional day-to-day consistency. Testing was conducted across multiple barrels, velocities, shooting days, and density altitude changes of several thousand feet, confirming that the performance gains are repeatable.
Measured results show a G7 BC of .351, verified over extended real-world conditions rather than single-session data. The MBC profile was designed to deliver both improved drag characteristics and highly consistent results from batch to batch.
